Thanks to a sharp-eyed person working in New York and noticing workers putting up the cover for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for Late Show with David Letterman. It was supposed to be covered up, but Rana Wardlaw who works at a media company kept a lookout for the right moment and snapped this photo of this year’s cover model.

So there you have it. Irina Shayik is the new cover model. I would have preferred Brooklyn Decker for a second year in a row, not that I’m complaining, mind you.
