Sirius Satellite Radio To Air English Premier League Games Exclusively

Sirius Satellite Radio which has provided Euro 2008 soccer comes back this week with exclusive coverage of the English Premier League which kicks off its new season on Saturday.

SIRIUS listeners nationwide will have access to live EPL matches every week of the 2008-09 season

NEW YORK – August 12, 2008 SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will kick off its coverage of the 2008-09 English Premier League soccer season on SIRIUS this Saturday, August 16.

Multiple live EPL matches will air each week throughout the season exclusively on SIRIUS channels 125 and 122. SIRIUS’ opening weekend coverage will feature five matches including Sunday’s match showcasing defending champion Manchester United versus Newcastle United. SIRIUS listeners will have access to games from all 20 EPL clubs as they compete for the coveted league title, which will be awarded to the leader in the points standing’s at season’s end in May.
