Sports Media Weekly Podcast No. 23

I don’t know what I was thinking. This is several days late, but still topical. Keith Thibault of the Sports Medal Journal and I talk about various subjects. There is no guest this time around, but there are always sports media topics to discuss.

We talk about the early ratings success for the Olympics on NBC. Keith and I also talk about NBC’s penchant to delay events and why the network won’t at least put them online so they can be seen live by those who wish to do so.

Keith and I opine on the long-delayed Daytona 500 which had its problems on Sunday.

Then we discuss the Tiger Woods apology which at the time of the taping had just been announced.
