Fang's Bites Is Three! Three Is A Magic Number

I didn’t realize Fang’s Bites was three years old until I saw from my RSS reader that Neil Best’s Watchdog blog at Newsday.com is celebrating its three year anniversary today. Neil and I started our blogs on the same day, May 2, 2007. While you may notice my archives date back to 2005, but I wasn’t blogging regularly back then and I re-started the blog in earnest in 2007 so I consider May 2 as the real launch date for Fang’s Bites.

I couldn’t think of a better day than spending this day with my fellow bloggers in Boston at The Baseball Tavern for Boston Sports Blogapalooza and I’ll write about that at the Fang’s Bites at Boston Sports Media Watch page. Thanks to Joe Gill at Boston Sports Then and Now for organizing the event and putting it all together. Good times.

And thanks to you for reading this blog for the last three years and for those just coming in. We’ve grown in leaps and bounds during that time and I hope to continue to provide you with content you want to read over the next three years.

About Ken Fang

Ken has been covering the sports media in earnest at his own site, Fang's Bites since May 2007 and at Awful Announcing since March 2013. He provides a unique perspective having been an award-winning radio news reporter in Providence and having worked in local television. Fang celebrates the three Boston Red Sox World Championships in the 21st Century, but continues to be a long-suffering Cleveland Browns fan.
