Continuing as the U.S. radio rightsholder for the Olympics since 1988 in Seoul, South Korea, WestwoodOne Radio will be on the scene in Sochi for the XXII Olympic Winter Games.
WestwoodOne will provide daily around the clock updates as many as three times per hour. In addition, the network will air long form programming, two hours each night from Sochi.
The network will also provide play-by-play coverage of each Team USA men’s hockey game for as long as it’s in the Olympic tournament. Steve Goldstein and Bret Hedican will be the team calling the games.

WestwoodOne will broadcast throughout the Games as the live events unfold, with around-the-clock Olympic updates three times per hour; live Team USA and Gold Medal Game Ice Hockey play-by-play; live coverage of various Olympic Winter events, including figure skating, speed skating, skiing, bobsleigh and luge; and a nightly Olympic wrap-up show recapping the day’s events.

- Live play-by-play coverage of every Men’s Team USA hockey game.
- Men’s Gold Medal Game (regardless of participants) will be presented on February 23.
- Women’s Gold Medal Hockey Game (regardless of participants) will be presented on Thursday, February 20.
