SiriusXM To Air Radio Play-by-Play Coverage of 2012 Olympics

After not being able to air the Olympics for its subscribers, SiriusXM has come to an agreement with NBC and Dial Global Radio to air audio coverage of the 2012 Olympic Games from London. SiriusXM will devote a channel completely to the Olympics called “Summer Games Radio”.

The channel will pick up Dial Global play-by-play broadcasts of all US Men’s Basketball games, US Women’s Basketball medal round games, men’s soccer medal round games and US women’s soccer medal round games.

In addition, SiriusXM will produce live talk shows from London hosted by Steve Schlanger who is calling several events for NBC. 1992 swimming gold medalist Summer Sanders will be an analyst for SiriusXM.
