No Flex in NFL Week 15

The NFL has just announced that there will not be a flex game for the Sunday night primetime slot in Week 15. We have only had one flex this season and that was this past Sunday when New England-Miami was jettisoned from primetime to early afternoon and Minnesota-Arizona was brought to NBC. While NBC’s Minnesota-Carolina game isn’t attractive on paper, it’s another instance where Brett Favre will probably bring viewers to the game. Here’s the entire schedule for Week 15, December 20.

WEEK 15 FLEX SCHEDULING:

NO CHANGE IN NBC SUNDAY NIGHT GAME;

GREEN BAY AT PITTSBURGH MOVES TO 4:15 PM ET ON FOX ON DEC. 20

The Week 15 NFL schedule was finalized today with the originally scheduled Minnesota at Carolina Sunday night game on NBC remaining in place. The Green Bay at Pittsburgh game on Sunday, December 20 moves from 1:00 PM ET to 4:15 PM ET on FOX.

The flex schedule game time changes for this Sunday (Dec. 13) are St. Louis at Tennessee on FOX at 4:05 PM ET.

We do have four late afternoon games which is much better. I’d love to see five or six late games, but the NFL likes to frontload its Sunday schedule for some reason.
