This marks the 9th year that NFL Network will air wall-to-wall coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. It has turned into ratings gold for NFL Network as over 6.5 million people watched the event last year.
NFL Network begins its coverage of the Scouting Combine on Thursday into Friday with the airing of live press conferences from the draft hopefuls. Then on Saturday, you’ll see the first live drills and they will last into the following week.
Rich Eisen will be your main host for the combine and he’ll attempt to improve on his 40 yard dash time. He’ll be joined by a whole host of analysts including Mike Mayock, Deion Sanders and others.

Beginning Thursday, February 21, NFL Network and NFL.com broadcast live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, providing an up-close look at the more than 330 NFL prospects looking to take the next step in their careers as the ‘Path to Primetime’ continues.
NFL Network and NFL.com feature an unmatched 24-man roster of talent to cover the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, including NFL Draft experts Mike Mayock and Charles Davis, and former NFL head coaches Steve Mariucci and Brian Billick. Additionally, former Super Bowl-winning general manager Charley Casserly, and former NFL scouts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks, each lend their insight into the Combine process gained from several years of experience in the field.
Live coverage of on-field workouts begins Saturday, February 23 at 9:00 AM ET with the offensive linemen, tight ends and kickers, and continues with the running backs, quarterbacks and wide receivers on Sunday, February 24, linebackers and defensive linemen on Monday, February 25 and defensive backs on Tuesday, February 26. Coverage of workouts begins each day at 9:00 AM ET.
Rich Eisen anchors NFL Network’s coverage of the on-field workouts, joined by Mayock and NFL Network’s team of analysts. Expert commentary includes Shaun O’Hara on offensive linemen (Saturday), Michael Irvin on wide receivers (Sunday), Marshall Faulk on running backs (Sunday), Warren Sapp on defensive linemen (Monday), Willie McGinest on linebackers (Monday), and Deion Sanders on defensive backs (Tuesday).
Throughout the week, Davis and host Chris Rose are joined by a rotating list of analysts that include Sapp, Mariucci, Billick and Kurt Warner to provide further analysis. Additionally, Thursday – Monday at 7:00 PM ET, NFL Total Access: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine wraps up all of the day’s action, hosted by Scott Hanson and Lindsay Rhodes and featuring a rotating roster of NFL Network analysts.
NFL Network will follow the following four prospects throughout their “Draft Journey,” providing a behind-the-scenes look at how each is preparing to pursue their NFL career: USC quarterback Matt Barkley, West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith, South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore and LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo. Features on each will air throughout NFL Network’s coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine, as well as leading up to the 2013 NFL Draft in April.
For the ninth year, the Combine will conclude with Rich Eisen’s annual 40-yard dash in his trademark suit and Under Armour shoes. This year, he will be looking to best his Personal Record of 6.03 seconds, which he set at last year’s Combine.

NFL Network’s coverage of the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine features a total of 17 cameras dedicated to capturing the workouts, and the following technological enhancements:
