NFL Continues To Set Viewership Records

According to the NFL, 22 regular season games have had over 20 million viewers. That’s a lot. And the two top rated programs of the week are NFL games including Chargers-Bears on CBS and Eagles-Giants on NBC. So it means that people love to watch the Sunday national windows at 4:15 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET.

NFL Games Top Local Ratings in 27 Markets

NFL games ranked as the two most-watched television programs last week (November 14-20) with the CBS national telecast (mostly Chargers-Bears) drawing an average of 21.5 million viewers followed by Eagles-Giants on NBC’s Sunday Night Football with 20.3 million viewers.

Through 11 weeks, there have been 22 games averaging at least 20 million viewers – the most ever at this point in the season.

NFL games also topped local ratings in 27 of 30 NFL markets last week.  Following is the list of the NFL markets where football was the top-rated program for the week of Nov. 14-20:
