This just in, the NFL has just announced that tonight’s Minnesota Vikings-Philadelphia Eagles game has been postponed due to a snow emergency declared over the expected blizzard on the East Coast tonight. To avoid a conflict with Monday Night Football and broadcasting the game to just local markets as with two weeks ago with the New York Giants-Minnesota game after the collapse of the Metrodome roof, the NFL will move Minnesota-Philly to Tuesday night at 8 Eastern.
This means NBC’s Football Night in America will go 90 minutes from 7 until 8:30 p.m. and then replacement primetime programming like Law & Order: Peace & Love and The Biggest Loser: Ode to Be Thin Again. NBC will air Minnesota-Philly on Tuesday night at 8.
