Hall of Fame Week on NFL Network kicks off with four documentaries profiling four members of the 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.

On Monday, August 1 at 8:00 PM ET, Ed Sabol: King of Football Movies premieres, detailing the immeasurable impact the founder of NFL Films has had on the history of the NFL. Through the use of video and exclusive on-field sound from players and coaches, Sabol has provided football fans unprecedented in-depth access to the game of football for almost 50 years.

On Tuesday, August 2 at 8:00 PM ET, Sharpe Focus: Journey to Canton profiles tight end Shannon Sharpe’s 14-year playing career with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. With the help of his brother – former Green Bay Packers wide receiver and current NFL Network analyst Sterling SharpeSharpe Focus tells the inspirational story of how a seventh-round draft pick from Savannah State became a Hall of Fame tight end.

The final two specials premiere on Wednesday, August 3. At 8:00 PM ET, Marshall Faulk: Rush to Canton chronicles Faulk’s career with the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, which included a victory in Super Bowl XXXIV and a league MVP award in 2000.

At 9:00 PM ET, Deion Sanders: Canton Goes Primetime looks back on Sanders’ 14-year career with five different teams, and the incredible impact that he had as both a defensive back and punt returner.

Jacksonville Sharks Host Orlando Predators in First Round of AFL Playoffs on Friday, July 29 at 8:00 PM ET Live on NFL.com

The road to ArenaBowl XXIV begins with an American Conference playoff matchup between the Orlando Predators and the Jacksonville Sharks live on NFL.com Friday, July 29 at 8:00 PM ET. The game will air on NFL Network on tape delay on Saturday, July 30 at 12 Midnight ET due to the special NFL Total Access: Free Agent Frenzy.

This will be the first time an AFL game has been shown live on NFL.com.

Paul Burmeister provides the play-by-play while Charles Davis serves as game analyst. Anthony Herron provides reports from the sidelines of Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

With a 14-4 record in the regular season, Jacksonville claimed the top playoff seed in the American Conference. Orlando earned the fourth seed in the playoffs, finishing with an 11-7 record in the regular season.

Jacksonville defeated Orlando in its two meetings this season. On April 30, the Sharks defeated the Predators, 76-55, in Jacksonville; on June 11, the Sharks won 68-67 on the road in Orlando.

This weekend’s game is a rematch of last season’s quarterfinals, in which Orlando defeated Jacksonville on the road, 73-69.

The latest edition of ‘The Rich Eisen Podcast’ is available for download on Thursday, July 28 on NFL.com and iTunes.

This week, Eisen talks with the general manager of the Atlanta Falcons, Thomas Dimitroff. With the league year off to a fast and furious start, Dimitroff discusses the Falcons’ free agency plans as the team looks to improve upon a 2010 season in which they fell to the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the players. Dimitroff also looks back on the draft-day trade for wide receiver Julio Jones and the impact the rookie will have as training camp opens.

Also on this edition of the podcast, 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Marshall Faulk catches up with the Hall of Fame running back for the Detroit Lions, Barry Sanders, at the EA Sports Madden event in New York City.
