NFL Classic Games: Vikings vs. Packers (11/6/2000) – Friday at 9:00 PM ET & Saturday at 2:00 PM ET

After playing catch up the entire game, the Packers couldn’t pull ahead of the Vikings and the game went into overtime. In a driving rain, QB Brett Favre threw a 43-yard pass to WR Antonio Freeman. The ball bounced off Vikings CB Cris Dishman and into the hands of Freeman, who had slipped and was lying on his stomach. Freeman jumped up and dashed into the end zone for a 26-20 victory.

NFL Classic Games is the only show on television where fans can catch the complete network broadcasts of classic NFL regular season and playoff games airing exclusively throughout the spring.

Greatest 4th QTRs – Thursday at 9:00 PM ET

This week’s Greatest 4th QTRs highlights Week 8 matchups between the Vikings-Packers, Seahawks-Cowboys and 49ers-Colts with a look back at the following games:

November 23, 2005 – Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers: After K Paul Edinger gave the Vikings a 17-14 lead in the fourth quarter with a 24-yard field goal, QB Brett Favre led the Packers on a tying drive – capped by Ryan Longwell’s 46-yard kick with 3:03 left. The Vikings had plenty of time left to drive down the field and won 20-17 on a late field goal.

January 6, 2007 – Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys: With 1:19 left in the game, the Cowboys were unsuccessful on a game-tying PAT and the Seahawks were able to preserve their 21-20 lead for a playoff berth.

October 18, 1998 – San Francisco 49ers vs. Indianapolis Colts: After rallying from a 21-0 deficit, the 49ers were tied with the Colts 31-31 in the fourth quarter. With 1:08 left, Colts K Mike Vanderjagt missed a 53-yard field goal and the 49ers took over, marching down the field to set up K Wade Richey’s 24-yard winning field goal with five seconds left.

Greatest 4th QTRs is a two hour compilation of three memorable fourth quarters in NFL history. Using NFL Films footage, Greatest 4th QTRs preps viewers for the upcoming weekend’s games by reliving three of the most exciting finishes between teams set to faceoff on Sunday.

NFL Films Presents: Renegade
– Thursday & Saturday at 4:30 PM ET

Steve Sabol sits down with Panthers WR Steve Smith who opens up about what drives him to be so relentless on the field and why he considers himself an introvert despite what people might see on camera. Also in this episode, we learn how and why the Styx song “Renegade” has become the battle cry of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Films Presents explores the depth of the NFL Films archive – the world’s largest sports film library – with unique perspectives on football’s greatest heroes and personalities as well as its history, humanity and humor.
