Another Rich Eisen Special on NFL Network Tonight

In what has become similar to when ABC aired the old Barbara Walters Specials, we have another hour-long Rich Eisen Special on NFL Network. And why not? In the offseason, why not tap into the face of your network to do specials around one of the more popular sports podcasts?

Tonight NFL Network will air some of the best interviews Eisen did at the Scouting Combine over the last few days in Indianapolis. Plus, you’ll see footage of Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards talking to various celebrities.

This fills an hour and starts tonight at 9:30 ET on the official network of the National Football League.

Here’s what’s in store on the special.

Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII Champion ED REED took off his pads and put on a tux to hit the Oscars red carpet on Sunday as the correspondent for NFL Network’s, “The Rich Eisen Combine Special”, airing this Wednesday, Feb. 27th at 9:30 PM ET. A-list celebrities such as  GEORGE CLOONEY went out of their way to speak to the Super Bowl Champion right before Hollywood’s own Super Bowl. The one hour special will also include exclusive interviews from the NFL Scouting Combine with Denver Broncos executive Vice President JOHN ELWAY, St. Louis Rams head coach JEFF FISHER and Indianapolis Colts head coach CHUCK PAGANO.

“I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have my Oscar correspondent be one of my favorite people I’ve met in the ten years I’ve covered the NFL,” said Eisen. “I knew Ed would crush the carpet and he did. If I was Kevin Frazier I’d have my head on a swivel.”

The NFL Scouting Combine welcomes over 330 college prospects to Indianapolis to show off their mental and physical prowess in front the coaching staffs, scouts and executives from all 32 NFL clubs, a major stepping stone to the NFL Draft in late April.

This is the fourth one-hour special Rich Eisen has hosted on NFL Network in the past 12 months on the heels of his Season Kickoff, Thanksgiving Special, and Super Bowl Special with BEYONCE KNOWLES.
