Your First NBC Promo For The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi

We’re focusing today on the Super Bowl, but you may have already seen promos for NBC’s coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The one year countdown will begin on the networks of NBCUniversal on February 6 (this Wednesday) and yes, it seems just a few weeks ago that the coverage of the 2012 London Olympics ended.

The 2014 Olympics will kick off NBC’s new contract with the International Olympic Committee and be the first for the network without any influence of former NBC Sports Emperor Dick Ebersol. Under this contract, NBC will air 2014 in Sochi, 2016 in Rio, 2018 in Pyeongchang and 2020 in a city yet to be determined (either Istanbul, Madrid or Tokyo).
