You Did This, America! Hall of Fame Game Wins Primetime. Again.

People keep picking on preseason football and say they won’t watch, but it keeps winning primetime. The Hall of Fame Game on NBC on Sunday between the Buffalo Bills and New York Football Giants pulled a 5.8/10 overnight rating. NBC Sports Public Relations tweeted the numbers this morning.

Austin Karp at Sports Business Daily/Sports Business Journal notes that the rating is down from last year.

However, as noted, the game won primetime over all network competition. You say you won’t watch, but somehow just like Godfather III, preseason football pulls you back in.

There are more games later this week. You say you won’t watch, but you will.
