Stanley Cup Game 7 Viewing Party At TD Garden In Boston Definitely On

Saw a tweet earlier today from Mike McMahon of the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune stating that NBC had rejected a request by the Boston Bruins and TD Garden to hold a Game 7 viewing party on Wednesday night. I retweeted it on my account after seeing it on my timeline.

The Garden was planning to open for fans to watch Game 7 tomorrow but NBC nixed it this morningless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

However, I received a phone call directly from someone at NBC Sports saying there was no such rejection. NBC has approved the request and there will be a viewing on the TD Garden big screen tomorrow night. Working to see if I can get this confirmed by the Bruins and the Garden. But according to NBC, the network has approved a request have the game screened at the TD Garden on Wednesday.

UPDATE: The party is off. Read here.
