We have this video of NBC Sports/Versus Executive Producer Sam Flood talking about the NBC Sports Group’s (a.k.a. “The Group”) approach for this Sunday’s Hockey Day in America. NBC will have an NHL doubleheader with three games being aired in an early window starting at 12:35 p.m. East and then a national window at 3 p.m. This will be followed by the NHL Heritage Classic from Calgary which will be seen on Versus at 6 p.m. So The Group will have a tripleheader leaving US hockey fans in heaven.
