NHL CONFERENCE FINAL DOUBLEHEADER THIS WEEKEND ON NBC SPORTS
Montreal Hosts Philadelphia this Saturday; Chicago Hosts San Jose this Sunday
“It’s going to be fantastic.” – NBC Sports’ Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick on this weekend’s games

NEW YORK – May, 20, 2010 – NBC Sports presents coverage of both the Eastern and Western Conference Finals this Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at 3 p.m. ET both days. The Montreal Canadiens host the Philadelphia Flyers, who currently hold a 2-0 series lead, in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final this Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. In the Western Conference, the Chicago Blackhawks, currently up 2-0, host the San Jose Sharks in Game 4 on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Pierre McGuire (inside-the-glass reporter) call the action. McGuire will pull double duty, hosting NBC’s studio show alongside analyst Mike Milbury.
Chicago is 3-2 on NBC this season, including last weekend’s Game 1 win over San Jose, which was the Sharks’ first appearance on the network this season. Montreal won its only game on the network this year, defeating Pittsburgh, 3-1, on May 2 in the Conference Semi-Finals. Philadelphia is 1-3 on NBC in 2010, including two overtime losses. Philadelphia and Chicago have an opportunity to clinch their series on NBC this weekend if they win their respective Game 3s, which will be played Thursday and Friday nights.
EMRICK: “Of all the hockey arenas, these are the two of the loudest. There will be close to 44,000 fans combined in the arenas and it’s going to be fantastic because of the history in Chicago and Montreal.”
“There is a rejuvenation of the whole franchise in Chicago. They learned a great deal losing to Detroit last year in the playoffs…Home has been good for Montreal in the playoffs. They’ve build up a great deal of confidence there. The question is, ‘is it too late?’”

NBCSPORTS.COM: NBCSports.com’s “Star-cam” continues in the playoffs. “Star-cam” tracks a player(s) from both teams throughout each of their shifts. Following the game, NBCSports.com will present bonus material, including “Star-cam” and “Net-cam” and bonus analysis from NBC Sports commentators.

That’s it.
