This had been speculated after Carolina beat the New England Patriots last Monday night and even more so after Carolina came back to win over Miami this afternoon. Now it’s official. In Week 14, the Carolina Panthers-New Orleans Saints game will be moved from its original early Sunday afternoon timeslot into primetime for NBC.
This means that NBC can promote another tasty quarterback matchup with Cam Newton vs. Drew Brees.
The original primetime game, Atlanta at Green Bay will be moved out of Sunday Night Football into the early 1 p.m. window on Fox.

NEW YORK – Nov. 24, 2013 – The Week 14 Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints game on Sunday, December 8 will be played at 8:30 PM ET on NBC’s Sunday Night Football and the Atlanta Falcons-Green Bay Packers game at 1:00 PM ET on FOX, the NFL announced today.
