It’s Official! Josh Elliott Joins NBC Sports

After working at Sports Illustrated then joining Disney to work at ESPN from 2004-2011 and ABC News’ Good Morning America from 2011-2014, Josh Elliott now moves to Comcast’s NBCUniversal for a totally new chapter of his career.

He moves to NBC Sports where he will be a host on the National Football League, Olympics and horse racing’s Triple Crown. His first event for NBC will be the Kentucky Derby on May 3, the first Saturday of the month.

Due to a non-compete clause with ABC, Elliott is prevented from appearing on NBC’s Today Show for at least six months, but expect to see him there once the clause expires.

It’s a big feather in NBC’s cap as they get a young broadcaster who could step into Bob Costas’ shoes at the Olympics and the NFL down the line.
