The NBA on TNT Returns With A Special Tuesday Night Doubleheader

The NBA comes back to TNT after a one week absence with a special Tuesday night double dip. You have two pretty good games on Tuesday with Chicago-Atlanta and Phoenix-LA Lakers. The NBA on TNT Returns with a Special Tuesday Doubleheader Featuring Bulls @ Hawks and Suns @ Lakers

TNT NBA Thursday continues on March 22 with a special Tuesday night doubleheader beginning at 8 p.m. (ET). The first game of the night will feature Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls visiting Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks. Play-by-play announcer Dick Stockton will call the game alongside analyst Mike Fratello with Cheryl Miller reporting. In the second game of the night, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers will face Steve Nash and Phoenix Suns at 10:30 p.m. (ET)Kevin Harlan (play-by-play) and Kevin McHale (analyst) will be courtside with David Aldridge reporting.  The Emmy® award-winning studio show Inside the NBA, with Ernie Johnson, Brent Barry and Chris Webber, will recap the games.

The 2010-11 NBA season on TNT is the most watched season in Turner’s 27 years of airing NBA coverage.  Through 44 games, the NBA on TNT is averaging a 1.6 U.S. rating (+31%, 1.2 U.S. rating), 2,446,000 total viewers (+35%, 1,814,000 total viewers) and 1,821,000 households (+32%, 1,379,000 households) over last year’s corresponding coverage. In addition, this season is +30% on total viewers compared to Turner’s next best regular season audience from the 1995-96 season (total viewer average 2,446,000 vs. 1,885,000).
