NBA TV’s First Fan Night of 2014 Involves New Orleans at Miami

On Tuesday, NBA TV’s first Fan Night of 2014 will take place. The two-time defending champions, the Miami Heat will host the New Orleans Pelicans.

NBA TV’s upcoming NBA Fan Night will feature the New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis visiting the Miami Heat and LeBron James on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The NBA Fan Night game selection was based on fan voting via NBA.com, NBA Facebook page, NBA TV’s Facebook page, Yahoo.com, NBA.com mobile web, mobile NBA Game Time App, the NBA Game Time App and Twitter.

NBA Fan Night host Ernie Johnson and analysts Chris Webber and Greg Anthony will offer analysis during the Pregame Show starting at 7 p.m. Johnson, Webber and Anthony will also provide updates at times during the game telecast, along with halftime and NBA GameTime post-game coverage.

Fan voting for the next NBA Fan Night telecast – Tuesday, Jan. 14 – will be conducted from Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 8 a.m. through Thursday, Jan. 9, at midnight. Potential game telecasts:

  • New York Knicks at Charlotte Bobcats
  • Sacramento Kings at Indiana Pacers
  • Cleveland Cavaliers at Los Angeles Lakers
