NBA TV Has Two Live Games This Week

As the NBA returns from its wildly successful All-Star Weekend, NBA TV has two live games this week starting with its Fan Night game tonight, Atlanta taking on the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center. The network has one more game tomorrow night and it’s also from Los Angeles. Let’s check the schedule for you.

Fans Select Atlanta Hawks @ Los Angeles Lakers for NBA TV’s Fan Night on Tuesday, Feb. 22

NBA TV Airs Trade Deadline Special on Thursday, Feb. 24

NBA TV’s Tuesday Fan Night game before All-Star will feature the Atlanta Hawks at the Los Angeles Lakers winning with 34-percent of the fan vote on NBA.com. The game will air on Tues., Feb. 22 at 10:30 p.m. (ET) with host Ernie Johnson and analysts Kevin McHale and Chris Webber on-hand for studio coverage beginning at 10:00 p.m. (ET). The night will tip off with host Rick Kamla and analyst Steve Smith on NBA GameTime at 8 p.m. (ET) to check in on games throughout the league.

Fan Night voting will continue on nba.com/nbatv/fannight from Tues., Feb. 22 (8 a.m. ET) – Thurs., Feb. 24 (Midnight ET) as fans select the match-up for Tues., Mar. 1 between:

  • New York Knicks @ Orlando Magic
  • Dallas Mavericks @ Philadelphia 76ers
  • San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies
  • Detroit Pistons @ Milwaukee Bucks
  • Houston Rockets @ Portland TrailBlazers

This week, NBA TV will provide comprehensive coverage of the NBA trade deadline on Thursday, Feb. 24 as teams make their final moves of the season to bolster their rosters.  NBA Trade Deadline Special will air from 2-4:00 p.m (ET) and feature host Rick Kamla, former general manager and current NBA TV analyst Kevin McHale, former head coach and current NBA TV analyst Mike Fratello, NBA Insider David Aldridge and NBA.com’s Sekou Smith.  The group will follow all the news and transactions and as well as provide analysis of trades and the impact on teams across the league. The network will also air the NBA Trade Deadline Recap from 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. (ET) analyzing all the trades that have occurred during the day.

In addition, NBA.com will provide breaking news, updates and analysis of all transactions as the trade deadline looms.

Fans can stay connected to the latest NBA action every Tuesday with The Jump, a live, interactive show designed for the ultimate NBA fan.  Fans can submit questions and comments via NBA.com, Facebook or Twitter.  Host Kyle Montgomery, analyst Dennis Scott, Kevin McHale and ‘chat-master’ Sekou Smith will respond and give their comments and analysis on everything happening around the league. The show will stream live on Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. (ET) on NBA.com and air at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (ET) on NBA TV.

The Beat returns this week to prep fans for the upcoming trade deadline with news and storylines across the league with host Marc Fein, regular contributors David Aldridge, SLAM’s Lang Whitaker as well as reporters from across the country. The Beat airs Feb. 22 at 6:00 p.m. (ET).
