NBA TV Ends The Regular Season With Three Games

The NBA regular season is about to close up shop for 2012 and NBA TV will end its regular season schedule tonight and tomorrow. It will carry a doubleheader tonight and a single game tomorrow.

NBA TV Concludes 96-Game Regular-Season Schedule April 22 & 23

Season Finales of The Beat, NBA.com Fantasy Insider and The Jump to Air Next Week

With three games remaining, NBA TV looks to culminate a record-setting 2011-2012 regular season in which total viewers are up 32 percent over last year with a key doubleheader on Sunday, April 22, beginning at 6 p.m. ET with Miami and LeBron James hosting Houston, as the Rockets compete for the last playoff spot in the West. The second game of the evening will feature the New Orleans Hornets taking on the Los Angeles Clippers at 9 p.m., with the Clippers aiming for the third playoff seed in the Western Conference. The last regular-season game of NBA TV’s 96-game schedule tips off Monday, April 23, at 8 p.m. and will feature the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the Memphis Grizzlies as Memphis vies for playoff positioning.

This week also marks the season finale of some of NBA TV’s most popular shows – The Beat, NBA.com Fantasy Insider and The Jump.  NBA.com Fantasy Insider will air on Monday, April 23, at 5 p.m. featuring highlights, surprises and other notable moments of the fantasy season followed by The Beat at 6 p.m with special guest Danny Ferry, San Antonio Spurs Vice President of Basketball Operations, to discuss the team’s run into the Playoffs. On Tuesday, April 24, The Jump will stream live at 3 p.m. on NBA.com (also airing on NBA TV at 6 p.m.).  The Jump will also feature a special segment with The Basketball Jones.

Additional NBA TV programming leading into the NBA Playoffs will include:

  • An original episode of The Association: Denver Nuggets airing Wednesday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. focusing on Denver’s race the secure a playoff position.
  • An all-newNBA Action show airingThursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. featuring the best plays and moments from the 2011-12 NBA Regular Season.

NBA TV will continue to have extensive coverage of all the action throughout the NBA Playoffs.
