MLB on TBS Heads to Pittsburgh

Turner’s Sunday MLB on TBS travels to Pittsburgh. The game that will be aired nationally except in the local markets will be the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Calling the game will be Matt Devlin, John Smoltz and Cal Ripken, Jr.

“Sunday MLB on TBS” continues June 16 with a National League showdown featuring rookie phenom Yasiel Puig and the Los Angeles Dodgers taking on Andrew McCutchen and the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:30 p.m. ET. The top pick in the 2011 MLB Draft Gerrit Cole is scheduled to make his second career start for Pittsburgh and will face Los Angeles’ probable starting pitcher Zack Greinke. In the TBS broadcast booth, Matt Devlin will call the action alongside analysts John Smoltz and Cal Ripken.

TBS’ regular season MLB coverage will include a 26-game schedule and the exclusive telecast of the 2013 MLB All-Star Selection Show on Sunday, June 30. In October, TBS will exclusively televise the American League and National League Wild Card games and will once again provide coverage of all four MLB Division Series and exclusive coverage of the National League Championship Series.

TBS has broadcast MLB for more than 30 years, televising the MLB Division Series and one League Championship Series since 2007, and was the home of the Atlanta Braves from 1977 to 2007.
