List of Performers For Upcoming World Series Games

This coming directly from Major League Baseball, here is the list of performers and celebrities who will take part in singing the National Anthem, throw out of the first pitch and sing God Bless America. Among those you’ll see is Zooey Deschanel of the Fox show, “New Girl”, former President of the United States George W. Bush, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, and member of the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki will be seen in the games played at the Ballpark at Arlington.

FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH AND TEXAS SPORTS HEROES DIRK NOWITZKI AND ROGER STAUBACH TO THROW WORLD SERIES FIRST PITCHES

TEXAS NATIVE DEMI LOVATO TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM PRIOR TO GAME FIVE OF WORLD SERIES ON FOX

As the 2011 World Series moves to Arlington, a variety of Texas personalities from politics, sports and music will be featured.  Former President George W. Bush, Dirk Nowitzki, and Roger Staubach will be throwing ceremonial first pitches during the games in Texas. In addition, Texas native Demi Lovato will sing the National Anthem prior to Game Five. All games will air on FOX starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

Game Three on Saturday:
National Anthem — Country music sensation Ronnie Dunn
Ceremonial First Pitch — Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks
God Bless America — Darby Ledbetter, Texas Army National Guard

Game Four on Sunday:
National Anthem Singer — Zooey Deschanel from the hit Fox show “New Girl”
Ceremonial First PitchFormer President George W. Bush
God Bless America — Master Sergeant Erika Stevens, Texas Air National Guard

Game Five on Monday:
National Anthem — Demi Lovato, a Texas native
Ceremonial First Pitch — Dallas Cowboys Legend Roger Staubach
God Bless America – Military wife Mollie Corbett

Lovato’s debut single “Skyscraper,” off of her recently released album “Unbroken,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes chart, #2 on the Billboard Hot Digital Singles chart and at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her highest single debut on those charts. She is gearing up to go on tour.
