TBS Airs the American League Tiebreaker Game on Monday

Tampa Bay and Texas will need Game 163 to determine which team will face Cleveland on Wednesday in the American League Wild Card. Cleveland has clinched the top Wild Card spot. Texas and Tampa Bay ended up tied for the last playoff spot so the Rangers and Rays will play in the tiebreaker at the Ballpark at Arlington on Monday night.

TBS airs the game starting at 8 p.m. ET. Calling the game will be Brian Anderson, Joe Simpson and John Smoltz. David Aldridge will be the on-field reporter.

TBS will have a pregame show hosted by Keith Olbermann with analysts Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci airing at 7:30 p.m.

TBS will exclusively present the American League tiebreaker, the Tampa Bay Rays visiting the Texas Rangers, on Monday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. ET. The game will determine which team will face the Cleveland Indians in the American League Wild Card Game on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. on TBS.  Brian Anderson will call the game alongside analysts Joe Simpson and John Smoltz and reporter David Aldridge.

Prior to the tiebreaker telecast, MLB Postseason Pre-Game on TBS will preview the game at 7:30 p.m. with host Keith Olbermann and analysts Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci in studio. The Postseason Show will conclude the day’s action following the game.
