It wasn’t like I was blatantly trying to just go up there and tear this man’s head off.I still feel like my hit was legal. I’ll go to the grave with it.On reaction to the $75,000HARRISON: I quit. If they are really fining me for a hit, that if it happened over again, I would react the same way, then I don’t see how I can continue to play…It’s not the fine it’s the fact that you are stopping me from playing the game they way that I’ve been taught to play it.You feel by modifying your target point, as they’ve asked you to do, has compromised your productivity in the next game?HARRISON: What it is, is you are taught to actually hit a guy with your face up. So, the first thing that hits is your helmet and you slide off left or you slide off right and at the same time you are wrapping up. You don’t try to run in there and head dive and just spear somebody like that. You’re gonna hurt yourself and you can hurt them.Do you ever think about the pain or the injury you could inflict to someone else?HARRISON: No, no, it’s part of the game. They don’t think about me being hurt I am sure. It’s just part of the game…I do have a heart. I don’t want to see anyone injured. But everyone is going to feel a little pain playing the game. It’s a physical contact game. Playing hurt is different from being injured.SAPP REACTION TO HARRISONSAPP: I wholeheartedly disagree…that is not the way any of us have been taught to tackle. You have never been taught to tackle by any coach by using your face. It’s head across the bow, rip, wrap and grab cloth and take somebody to the ground.ROMO WIREDTony Romo’s first question after being hit by the Giants Michael Boley: Did he catch the pass?ON SAN DIEGO – How can the No. 1 team in total offense and total defense be 2-5?SAPP: Team. There is no I, there’s no me, there is all of us. If your right guard on the punt team is not going to protect and Oakland gets to block two field-goals and score 10-points and you do all these crazy things.
