  • Oosthuizen, Day and Cink Thursday’s Featured Group Defending Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen, 2009 Open Champion Stewart Cink and Jason Day will be Golf Channel’s featured group during Thursday’s opening round of coverage.  Also featured during Friday’s live coverage will be the grouping of two-time John Deere Classic champion Steve Stricker, David Toms, and Illinois resident Mark Wilson.
  • Trackman Featured at TPC Deere Run – Trackman, a radar technology that measures club head speed, ball flight and trajectory, will be featured on holes 9 and 18 at TPC Deere Run during Golf Channel’s live coverage.

  • First Tee Chapters Headline Field: Seventy junior participants representing 47 chapters of The First Tee, along with eight juniors from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, will be teamed with 78 Champions Tour players and 156 amateurs.  Golf Channel will feature and interview The First Tee participants during all three rounds of coverage.
  • In the Field: Ben Crenshaw, Tom Watson, Nick Price, John Cook, Jay Haas, Loren Roberts, Mark O’Meara, Chip Beck, Tom Kite, Scott Simpson, Craig Stadler, Hale Irwin and Jeff Sluman.
