Two Sunday U.S. Open-Related Press Releases

First, Sirius XM Radio will carry Monday’s final round in its entirety.

NEW YORK – June 21, 2009 SIRIUS XM Radio will offer continued live coverage of the U.S. Open Golf Championship on Monday, June 22, on XM channel 146 and on SIRIUS channel 209 with the “Best of XM” programming package.

Should play extend beyond Monday, SIRIUS XM will offer continued coverage until the conclusion of the championship.


SIRIUS XM will go on air at 8:00 am ET on Monday live from Bethpage and present live play-by-play from around the course throughout the day until the conclusion of play. In addition to play-by-play, listeners will also get comprehensive analysis by SIRIUS XM’s on-site hosts and reporters.


Brian Katrek hosts SIRIUS XM’s live championship coverage alongside lead analyst John Maginnes. From inside the ropes, listeners will hear hole-by-hole updates from on-course reporters Mark Carnevale, Dennis Paulson, Fred Albers, T.J. Rives and John Tautges.


SIRIUS XM’s coverage of the U.S. Open is available to subscribers nationwide whether they are at home, in the office or on the go.


Listeners can follow the championship through their XM or SIRIUS radios or through the computer with XM Radio Online and SIRIUS Internet Radio, the online versions of the XM and SIRIUS services. SIRIUS subscribers must have the “Best of XM” programming package to listen to the coverage.


The coverage will also be available to users of iPhone and iPod touch who have downloaded the SIRIUS XM App and who have a SIRIUS XM Premium Online subscription. The SIRIUS XM app is available for free from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch.


There is no additional charge for listening to SIRIUS XM’s programming on the iPhone or iPod touch once a user becomes a SIRIUS XM Internet subscriber or subscribes to the Company’s Premium Online service in c
onjunction with their satellite radio subscription.

And Golf Channel will have a Father’s Day feature during tonight’s Live From the U.S. Open.

Billy Casper Father’s Day Feature on Tonight’s Live From the U.S. Open

Tonight’s two-hour Live From the U.S. Open show on GOLF CHANNEL, airing immediately following network coverage, will feature an Father’s Day story about Hall-of-Fame legend Billy Casper, who 50 years ago won the U.S. Open title here in the metropolitan New York region. GOLF CHANNEL’s Rich Lerner will trace Casper’s rise from a broken home in San Diego to the pinnacle of golf; his unusual standing in the Muslin world and his own bittersweet experiences as a father of 11. In the feature Casper will open up in a way few golf fans have seen.
