The series’ final two competitors – Carling Coffing and Lili Alvarez – will compete in an 18-hole match to determine the champion of Big Break Sandals Resorts.  The champion of the series will compete in the 2010 Lorena Ochoa Invitational on the LPGA Tour and the 2010 Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.

The season finale of Golf in America, hosted by Anthony Anderson, will feature:

  • Shipnuck Takes on Bandon DunesSports Illustrated golf writer Alan Shipnuck will visit Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, where he will take on the task of playing all four courses in one day. Golf In America will document his efforts at the world-class resort
  • Fred Wadsworth – Fred Wadsworth is the only player in PGA TOUR history to Monday-qualify and then win the same event. Golf in America will revisit Wadsworth’s feat at the 1986 Southern Open.
  • The Legend of Sleepy Dye – Rich Lerner will tell the story of the Legend of Sleepy Dye, a Tallahassee attorney who lost his battle with Cancer in the late 1990’s. In 2010, 12 years after Dye passed away, 16 members of his family made the trip to the Old Course at St. Andrews for the Open Championship and to pay their respects to Dye

Doc Rivers, head basketball coach for the Boston Celtics, will join host Michael Breed in-studio for a new episode of The Golf Fix. Breed will examine Rivers’ swing and provide tips and instruction to improve Rivers’ golf game. Breed also will discuss the key moments from the weekend in golf.

Airtime:            Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 p.m.

Host Kraig Kann and panelists Charlie Rymer and Jeff Rude will discuss the hot topics coming out of the Wyndham Championship and also will preview the storylines heading into PGA TOUR Playoffs. John Hawkins will join the show from The Barclays, and GolfChannel.com editorial director Jay Coffin also will contribute to the show.
