Golf Channel Says Watch Us After The U.S. Open is Finished

Just got an advisory from the people at the Golf Channel about its programming plans for Sunday before and after the U.S. Open on NBC. I’ll share it with you.

Sunday’s Live From the U.S. Open pre game show on GOLF CHANNEL will air live from 9 – 10 a.m. ET. The show will be hosted by Scott Walker and Todd Lewis from the network’s Orlando studios, joined by Rich Lerner, Jim Gray, Rex Hoggard, Frank Nobilo and Brandel Chamblee live and on-site from Bethpage, reporting from the practice putting green and driving range. At the top and bottom of every hour beginning at 7 a.m. ET, GOLF CHANNEL also will air scoring updates leading up to the network’s early Live From coverage.

Sunday’s prime-time Live From the U.S. Open will air immediately following network coverage. Vince Cellini, Chamblee and Nobilo will recap all of the action with interviews, highlights and analysis in the two-hour special.

If Tennis Channel served me as well as Golf Channel did, I would promote it more. Golf Channel has done a great job sending its press releases every week.
