SEC Gridiron Live Premieres Wednesday & SEC on Fox Sports South Returns Saturday

The SEC football season opens in a big way this weekend and Fox Sports South and other affiliates in the conference footprint will be all over live football. And also premiering this week is SEC Gridiron Live that was popular in the South last year.

SEC FOOTBALL ON FOX SPORTS SOUTH KICKS OFF

SEC Gridrion LIVE Returns Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET
Nick Saban Interview; Randall Cobb, Shaun Chapas and Aairon Savage Features Included
Auburn Hosts Arkansas State, Saturday at 7 p.m. ET
Southeastern Conference football on FOX Sports South kicks off this week with the return of SEC Gridiron LIVE on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET. This week’s episode of the Emmy Award-winning show includes the debut of analyst Tim Couch, former University of Kentucky standout and the top pick in the 1999 NFL Draft, and new social media host Kristina Akra. Couch and Akra join host Charles Davis and analyst Randy Cross on the weekly show. Highlights of Wednesday’s show include:
  •  SEC Gridiron LIVE’s resident QB Couch weighs in on the quarterback situation in the SEC, where half the teams are breaking in new signal callers

  • Nick Saban goes one-on-one with producer Ray Goodrich to talk about last year’s title and this year’s squad

  • Cross breaks down Alabama’s defense and explains which positions are critical for the Crimson Tide to fill

  • In a unique FlipCam feature, Kentucky’s Randall Cobb, Georgia’s Shaun Chapas and Auburn’s Aairon Savage take us behind the scenes at SEC Football Media Days

  • The SEC Gridiron LIVE team offers the keys to victory for LSU when they face North Carolina on Saturday

On Saturday at 7 p.m. ET, the Auburn Tigers host the Arkansas State Indians at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn on FOX Sports South in high definition. Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun will be joined by analyst Couch and sideline reporter Jenn Hildreth in the FOX Sports South booth. 
SEC Gridiron LIVE and live SEC football will be distributed to more than 22 million cable and satellite households on FSN throughout the SEC territory – FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Tennessee, Sun Sports, FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston.
