Some Sunday Night Links

We have a few things to give you tonight.

First, from the Albany Times Union, Pete Dougherty writes in his Best Seat in My House blog that NBC is happy over the overnight ratings for the NFL Wild Card Saturday doubleheader. In addition, Dougherty is not happy over the delayed broadcast of one local radio station carrying the New York Football Giants games.

NBC and Microsoft have announced an alliance for the NBC Olympics website to provide online streaming video of the Summer Olympics this August.

If you missed it, here’s the entire transcript of the 60 Minutes interview with Roger Clemens.

Baltimore Sun reporter Roch Kubatko in his blog gives his reaction to the Clemens interview. John Delcos of the White Plains (NY) Journal News says the interview broke little ground. Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle talks with Astros fans about the interview. Also from the Chronicle, Claudia Feldman talks with a body language expert about Clemens behavior during tonight’s interview.

You know the yellow 1st and 10 line that is now standard on every NFL and college football telecast? The man who developed it is named Stan Honey and the San Francisco Chronicle’s Sam Whiting talks to him about that innovation plus that infamous blue puck that Fox Sports used on NHL broadcasts.

Back tomorrow with more links.
