It’s Official: Holly Sonders Joins Fox Sports in January

Last week, word surfaced that Morning Drive co-host Holly Sonders was leaving Golf Channel and would join Fox Sports after contract talks with NBC broke down. Sonders joined Golf Channel back in 2011 to launch Morning Drive with her now-husband Erik Kuselias and Gary Williams.

While everything was reported and Golf Channel confirmed her departure, we had not heard from Holly until today when she made the move official on her Twitter account.

The Big Lead reports that Sonders has to wait until the end of the year because her Golf Channel contract expires then and Kuselias tried to package both him and her to Fox as a package deal.

Sonders would join the NFL on Fox as a sideline reporter and also be part of Fox’s golf team which will cover the U.S. Open and other USGA events beginning in 2015.
