Drew Brees and the Saints are in Jacksonville to battle the Jaguars. Also, the Chiefs host the Vikings to round out the 1:00 PM ET NFL games on FOX. The 4:00 PM ET window opens with the Giants traveling to the desert to take on the Cardinals. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa call the action from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. Also, the Falcons face the Seahawks in Seattle.

PEREIRA REFLECTS ON VICK’S CRITIQUE OF OFFICIALS – Following Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick complained that he isn’t protected and isn’t treated the same as other QB’s in the league by NFL referees. Following those comments, former VP of NFL officiating and current NFL on FOX rules analyst, Mike Pereira joined SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio earlier this week and dismissed Vick’s statement. “It actually took me back to my job in New York when I worked for the league and there were constant complaints by the Eagles, whether it was [Donovan] McNabb at QB or whether it was Vick. They clearly complained more than any other team,” said Pereira. Pereira went on to say that Vick’s style on the field leaves him vulnerable to getting hit more than other QB’s in the league. “He’s a quarterback that’s on the move; he is going to get hit more. Yes, there are a couple that may be missed but the idea that a ton of them are missed and that he’s hit late all the time is absurd.”

Another Fox Sports press release coming up after this.
