BREAKING NEWS: Fox Takes U.S. Open Away From NBC/ESPN

Huge news. Fox becomes a player in golf as it has wrested the USGA contract from ESPN and NBC. Michael Smith of Sports Business Daily breaks the news. The contract begins in 2015 which is also the same year Fox starts its World Cup contract.

Fox wins the entire enchilada meaning Fox Sports 1 will air early round coverage. More to follow.
