Time for your weekly look at what Fox is doing on Saturday for its MLB package. It’s the third straight week in primetime and lo and behold, Joe Buck is back on the case meaning he’ll have worked 7 out of 9 possible weeks for Fox. I think this is a record for this point in the season.
So there will be five games offered by Fox on “Baseball Night in America.” The main game will be Yankees at Detroit which goes to 63% of the country.
Once again, Fox utilizes Tom Verducci and Mitch Williams as analysts. It also taps announcers from its Fox Sports Net affiliates to make a couple of hybrid announcing teams. Like Dick Bremer of Fox Sports North calling the Minnesota-Cleveland game with Williams. And Daron Sutton of Fox Sports Arizona calling the Diamondbacks-Padres game with Mark Grant of Fox Sports San Diego.
We have the schedule below for you.

Rosenthal has been wearing bow ties during MLB on FOX broadcasts since the 2011 season to raise awareness for charities, groups and institutions supported by former NFL player Dhani Jones’ philanthropic initiative the BowTie Cause. “Joe Maddon likes doing this because it builds camaraderie, takes players out of their comfort zone and he wants to poke fun at the group that insists on wearing $3,000 suits on chartered airplanes. He never understood how that related to winning,” said Rosenthal. “The Rays actually wore the bow ties from the BowTie Cause, the ones that I wear every week, and they made a donation of $3,000 to be distributed among 18 different charities.”
