Nats-Giants NLDS Game 4 Sets Record for Fox Sports 1

Executives at Fox Sports are doing backflips and handstands in the hallways this week. Thanks to the MLB Postseason, Fox Sports 1 has been seeing increased viewership. The network has been setting viewership records and Tuesday night was not an exception. After hitting a viewership record on Saturday, Fox Sports 1 did it again on Tuesday with a NLDS Game 4 doubleheader.

Dodgers-Cardinals gave FS1 its highest non-primetime viewership with 3.267 million viewers peaking at an audience of just under 5 million as St. Louis was about to clinch.

Then in primetime, Nationals-Giants averaged 3.921 million viewers which broke the previous record set on Saturday when Game 2 of Cardinals-Dodgers drew 3.595 million.

Locally, St. Louis saw a 22.4 rating with a 39 share leading all markets for the Dodgers-Cards game.

Los Angeles – Major League Baseball’s exciting postseason continues to deliver impressive, record-setting viewership to FOX Sports 1. The latest figures, courtesy of two riveting NLDS Game 4 series-clinching match-ups between the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants, pushed FOX Sports 1 to be the No. 1 ad supported cable network Tuesday night in prime time, and to record its most-watched total day, its most-watched program and its most-watched non-primetime show.

On Tuesday from 8:00-11:00 PM ET, FOX Sports 1 averaged 3.443 million viewers to register as the No. 1 ad-supported cable network in prime time, followed by Fox Networks Group’s sister channels Fox News Channel (2.399 mm) and FX (2.195 mm), together covering the worlds of sports, news and entertainment.
