Now we move to the NFL on Fox which has five games on Sunday, four at 1 p.m. ET and just the Giants-Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. It marks the first time since 2010 that Fox will have a New York Giants-Dallas matchup as NBC had both last season and the first in 2012 in the NFL Kickoff Game in Week 1. You can bet that Fox is happy to have this game and it being the lone late game on the network.

After nearly pulling off a miracle in the Meadowlands, Robert Griffin III and the Redskins travel to Pittsburgh to take on Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers in a 1:00 PM matchup. Two the NFL’s most talked about quarterbacks, Cam Newton and Jay Cutler faceoff as the 5-1 Bears host the Panthers. Coming off their bye week, Matt Ryan and the undefeated Falcons look to keep rolling as they travel to Philadelphia to meet Mike Vick and the Eagles. Also, the stingy Seahawks defense looks to shut down Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson when they battle the Lions in Detroit. At times, the Eagles need eight-man protections to keep Michael Vick alive off play action. And it’s not as if they’re calling play action because they’ve been running it so effectively. These eight-man protections only leave two-man wide receiver routes and are usually met with four defensive players in the backfield,” said Lynch. The answer for the Eagles offense is not only the offensive line but successfully utilizing their running back LeSean McCoy. “LeSean McCoy is the guy they need to feed the ball to more and he’s got a great compliment in the back field in rookie running back Bryce Brown. If calling play action is going to work for the Eagles, their running game needs to be respected.”
