Strahan: Cowboys Need To Get It Together
EAGLES BATTLE RYAN AND THE FALCONS – The NFL on FOX kicks off doubleheader action on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 1:00 PM ET with five matchups – each presented in true HD. In Philadelphia, Eagles’ fans can rest a little easier after Kevin Kolb and LeSean McCoy’s performance last week in their win. This week, the Eagles take on Matt Ryan and the Falcons where there’s still a chance that Michael Vick will take the field against his former team. Coming off back-to-back strong outings, Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora and the Giants defense look to slow down Jahvid Best and the Lions. Despite a 3-2 record, Drew Brees and the Saints look nothing like Super Bowl champs. New Orleans travels to Tampa to take on Josh Freeman and the surprising 3-1 Bucs. FOX’s doubleheader concludes with a big matchup in Minneapolis. Looking to right their respective ships, Brett Favre and the Vikings host Tony Romo and the Cowboys as both teams come off  dismal losses. Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver call the proceedings from the Metrodome at 4:15 PM ET.
Coverage begins at 12:00 PM ET with America’s most-watched pregame show, FOX NFL SUNDAY. Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee co-host the Emmy Award-winning program and are joined by analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Jimmy Johnson. NFL Insider Jay Glazer presents the latest league news and scoops and comedic prognosticator Frank Caliendo contributes his weekly “Frank’s Picks” segment. NFL rules analyst Mike Pereira is also on hand to go over any impactful officiating issues from the last week. In this week’s show, Oliver checks in on the Giants defense to see if they are for real or just hype. FOX NFL SUNDAY analyst Johnson will join Sam Rosen, Tim Ryan & Nischelle Turner during coverage of Saints at Bucs from the studio in Los Angeles for special insight from the Super Bowl-winning coach.
STRAHAN: DALLAS HAS STARS BUT CAN’T PUT IT TOGETHER – FOX NFL SUNDAY analyst Michael Strahan believes the Cowboys have the tools for success but don’t know how to put those tools to use. “Dallas is not about talent.  I think Dallas is about discipline. Those guys are so talented but they just can’t put it together. You can put as much talent on the field as you want but if the guys don’t have a feel for each other; it’s never going to work. Even if the starters got hurt, this team shouldn’t lose to anybody. I don’t know if it’s the attitude or the coaching or something else.”

Ok, that’s it.
