Bradshaw: Jason Garrett is No Head Coach, He’s is Just a Yes Man For Jerry Jones
Johnson: I love the Cowboys but I Don’t Like the Way This Team is Structured
Glazer Reports Rex Ryan Told Team He Believes He’ll be Fired at the End of This Season

Analyst Terry Bradshaw on Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz:  “[Jason] Garrett in Dallas is no head coach. He never should’ve been hired in the first place. He’s just a yes man for Jerry [Jones]. You look at Schwartz over in Detroit I don’t know what he is. I know one thing he’s no head coach either. The problem is, and everyone has already stated it, you don’t commit turnovers in Detroit. You don’t drop passes in Detroit. You have to be held accountable. You must have fear as a player. A coach has to control that locker room which means he has to control those players.”

—————————————————————————

Analyst Jimmy Johnson on who is responsible for the Cowboys devastating defeat last Sunday in which they blew a 23-point halftime lead:  “Let’s take a look at who is responsible for this debacle: [Bill] Callahan, [Tony] Romo, receivers not running the routes, Jason Garrett. If a player leaves the field early, who is he responsible to, who does he answer to, where is the fear? To have a championship team you have one voice, one leader, and that’s the head coach.  Now, I love the Cowboys, but I don’t like the way this team is structured.”

FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer reports that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan told his team he believes he’ll be fired at the end of the season:  “Last night in the Jets team meeting, talk about a motivational tool, Jets head coach Rex Ryan walked into his team meeting and said, ‘guys, word on the street, I’m getting fired. I’m not coming back. I’ve got two weeks left.’ Rex has always viewed himself as a sacrificial lamb and whether or not that decision has been made, we don’t know, but he walked in there and said ‘guys, that’s the word on the street, I’ve got two weeks left here, you guys ride with me. Roll with me here for the last two weeks we’ll see what happens.’”

—————————————————————————

FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer learned that Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier could save his job in the final 2 weeks of the season:  “3 or 4 weeks ago I would’ve said, no it’s an absolute forgone conclusion that Leslie Frazier is out. That’s not the case anymore. There’s a slight window open. These last 2 weeks could be very big for Leslie Frazier. I still think it leans more towards him leaving but at least now their will be a conversation.”

—————————————————————————

Analyst Howie Long discusses whether or not it was a cheap shot by Pittsburgh Steelers Terence Garvin on Cincinnati Bengals punter Kevin Huber in last week’s game. Garvin was fined $25,000: “At some point the punter becomes a football player and he was in position to make a play.”

—————————————————————————

Analyst Michael Strahan says it’s very risky for a team to start a rookie offensive tackle in such a big game, as the New Orleans Saints start rookie Terron Armstead today:  “It’s very risky. They may need to keep somebody in to help Armstead which is a disruption to their passing game.”

—————————————————————————

Analyst Howie Long previews the New Orleans Saints matchup versus the Carolina Panthers: “With Carolina, pressure equals coverage. If they get it, they win. If they don’t, they lose.”

—————————————————————————

Analyst Terry Bradshaw chooses his AFC Champion:  “You know what, they’re [Baltimore Ravens] going to jump right into the Super Bowl.”

—————————————————————————-

Analyst Michael Strahan says the Detroit Lions are sloppy:  “Here is a team with one of the best offenses in the league but their undisciplined. Last week, they couldn’t catch the ball. They can’t hold onto the ball. Defensively, the last 4 games they’ve lost, they’ve lost with a fourth quarter lead.”

And that’s going to do it.
