Fox NFL Sunday Quotage for Week 10 of the 2013 Season

Fox NFL Sunday landed the interview of the 2013 season-to-date by landing Richie Incognito. Insider Jay Glazer through his MMA training connections was able to convince Incognito to talk about the bullying of Jonathan Martin and we got some interesting revelations. I’ll post the video of that interview plus reaction from the cast of Fox NFL Sunday. There is a lot of quotage from the show today.

INCOGNITO: I AM NOT A RACIST

Richie Incognito spoke exclusively with FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer in an interview taped Saturday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. It is Incognito’s first extended interview since the Jonathan Martin story broke.

Glazer: “October 28 changed the lives of a lot of people inside the Dolphins organization and perhaps the culture of locker room around sports as we know them. Full disclosure, I’ve been friendly with Richie Incognito for about five years. Three years ago I trained him in my mixed martial arts cross training program. Still, with that said, the words and the subject matter that have come about with this have been difficult for me to grasp and really difficult for America to comprehend.”

“There are so many ugly subjects here and I asked Richie about them all. The only one he sidestepped and wouldn’t answer was ‘Did your coaches order essentially a code red? Did they order you to toughen up Jonathan Martin’ and he said he can’t answer that. There are still legal issues.”

“This obviously has fractured the Dolphins locker room. It’s an ugly story but it goes way beyond sports. You have accusations of racism, accusations of hazing, accusations of bullying and at the center of it all is the relationship between Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito.”
