NBC Previews Sunday Night Football for Week 15 of the 2013 Season

This Sunday night, NBC’s football night will involve an AFC North Division battle between the Cincinnati Bengals at the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the Steelers out of contention for a playoff spot, NBC is stuck with a less-than-attractive matchup in primetime. However, the peacock will make due with the hand it has been dealt.

Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya will be at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh for the call.

During Football Night in America, host Bob Costas will be joined in the Steel City by former Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward. For the studio portion in NYC, Dan Patrick hosts with Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison as his analysts and insiders Mike Florio and Peter King on-hand to provide late, breaking news. Former New England Patriots and Kansas City executive Scott Pioli will also be on the FINA set.

This is what we have from NBC regarding the game.

BENGALS-STEELERS PREVIEW

“The Cincinnati Bengals are looking good with Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, and rookie Giovani Bernard, who has added an element coming out of the backfield. They have to keep that two-game lead against Baltimore because the Ravens have the head-to-head win and the teams play in the last game of the season.” – Cris Collinsworth

“If the Bengals keep winning, they can catch New England and have the same record at the end of the season and tie the Patriots, and the Bengals would get the tiebreaker and get a bye.” – Al Michaels
