World Cup Announcing Assignments for July 5, 2014

I did not provide you the announcing assignments for Friday’s games as I had to go the Emergency Room to deal with a breakout of hives. After getting a shot of Benadryl, I’m now much better, but it was a difficult night for me going into July 4th.

Anyway, I’m fine now and here are the announcing assignments for the last two Quarterfinals. After Saturday’s games, it will just the semifinals on Tuesday and Wednesday followed by the 3rd Place Game next Saturday, July 11 in Brasilia and the Final on Sunday, July 12 in Rio de Janeiro.

But first things first, we have the final two quarterfinal games. ABC/Univision/Univision Deportes carries the early game between Argentina and Belgium. Then ESPN/Univision/Univision Deportes will air the Netherlands vs. Costa Rica game late.

Here’s the schedule and the announcing assignments and all times are Eastern.

11:30 a.m.

Quarterfinal
