Ryan Burr Announces His Own Departure From ESPN

It may not be as high profile as Michelle Beadle or Erin Andrews, but one of the better hosts at ESPN, Ryan Burr has announced today is his last day at ESPN and he will leave for NBC Sports Group where he will work mostly for Golf Channel and for NBC Sports.

Burr has been a host on College Football Live, College Football Final, SportsCenter and has been doing work on ESPN’s expanded coverage of Wimbledon on ESPN3 and DirecTV. Ryan himself says he’ll be with the NBC Sports Group over the next seven years.

Ryan says Joe Tessitore will take his place on College Football Live. I hope that NBC Sports will provide a press release to make this official.
