This from ESPN Radio. Paul Finebaum who signed a contract with ESPN earlier this year will have his radio show return to the national airwaves starting on Monday, August 12. Finebaum who was based out of Birmingham, AL will now be based out of Charlotte, NC.
ESPN Radio will produce the show and Cumulus Media will syndicate the show nationally. ESPN Radio affiliates will have the first opportunity to pick up the show and if they refuse, then other stations will have the chance to air it.
The show will be heard from 2-6 p.m. ET and will have a TV simulcast on the SEC Network when it launches next year. In addition, Finebaum will make appearances on various ESPN programming including College Football Live, College GameDay and SportsCenter.

Paul Finebaum National Show Debuts August 12; Cumulus Media Networks Selected by ESPN for Terrestrial Radio Distribution
The Paul Finebaum Show will debut on Monday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m. ET. The four-hour daily program, produced by ESPN Radio, will showcase Finebaum’s compelling opinions and deep knowledge of the SEC as well as his interaction with his passionate callers, many of whom have followed him for years.
Finebaum, considered a leading sports authority in the South and the “Voice of the SEC,” will be based in ESPN’s Charlotte, N.C. studios.
Cumulus Media Networks Distribution
ESPN Audio has selected Cumulus Media Networks to secure terrestrial radio distribution for Finebaum’s show.
ESPN affiliated stations in every market will have the first opportunity to carry the show. His former home station in Birmingham, Ala., WJOX 94.5 FM, as well as WAPI 100.5 FM, will offer the show. His previous show attracted nearly a quarter of the adult male listeners in Birmingham, ESPN’s highest-rated college football television market the past several years.
ESPN Audio is overseeing satellite and digital distribution.

Finebaum will appear on a variety of other ESPN shows and outlets, including SportsCenter, College Football Live, College GameDay and in ESPN The Magazine. Starting in August 2014, when the SEC Network launches, a television simulcast of Finebaum’s radio show will anchor the network’s afternoon lineup.
