ESPN's, NBC's & Golf Channel's Plans for U.S. Open Monday

With the final round of the U.S. Open scheduled for Monday, both ESPN and NBC have announced their schedule.

Here’s what’s in store for ESPN.

Monday U.S. Open Championship Coverage on ESPN

ESPN will provide coverage of the of 4th Round of 2009 U.S. Open Championship from Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y., Monday, from 9-11:30 a.m., ET. If necessary, ESPN will also provide coverage of a playoff, tentatively from 1:30- 3:30 p.m., ET.

ESPN360.com will provide live streaming, from 9 a.m.-until conclusion of the 4th round as well as any playoff coverage in its entirety.
ESPNMobileTV will also provide coverage Monday from 9-11:30 a.m., and 1:30-3:30 p.m.
In addition, SportsCenter will be live on ESPN at 8 a.m. with updates from Bethpage Black.

And here’s what you can expect from NBC on Monday.

NBC SPORTS’ FINAL ROUND U.S. OPEN COVERAGE TOMORROW TO BEGIN AT 11:30 AM ET

NBCSports.com to Live Stream Entire Final Round Starting at 9 a.m. ET

NEW YORK – June 21, 2009 – NBC Sports will come on the air at 11:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. PT/9:30 a.m. MT/10:30 a.m. CT) tomorrow with the live conclusion of the final round of the 109th U.S. Open. ESPN's coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET.

For those fans in their offices, NBCSports.com will live stream the entire final round starting at 9 a.m. ET.

Nice that both ESPN and NBC will stream their coverage online.

This is what Golf Channel will do before and after U.S. Open network coverage.

Monday’s Live From the U.S. Open pre game show will air live on GOLF CHANNEL from 8 – 9 a.m. ET. Previewing the final round at Bethpage Black, the show will be hosted by Iain Page and Scott Walker from the network’s Orlando studios, joined by Rich Lerner, Jim Gray, Steve Sands, Rex Hoggard, Frank Nobilo and Brandel Chamblee on-site from Bethpage.

Monday two-hour Live From the U.S. Open post game show will air immediately following network coverage. Vince Cellini, Chamblee and Nobilo will recap all of the action with interviews, highlights and analysis.
