First, Fox has two Interleague games today. Joe Buck is taking the weekend off which means he’ll have worked 7 out of 10 possible games this season.

INTERLEAGUE PLAY TAKES CENTERSTAGE ONCE AGAIN – Week 10 of the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week on Saturday, June 12 at 4:00 PM ET kicks off the last round of interleague play. In Boston, the Fenway faithful welcome the defending NL Champs as Chase Utley and the Phillies take on the Red Sox. There’s another Windy City showdown as the Cubs-White Sox matchup features two of the game’s most quoted managers; Lou Piniella and Ozzie Guillen. This week, the pregame show originates live from Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL with host Chris Rose.  Once game action begins, Rose joins the game crew including Kenny Albert and Eric Karros as a field reporter.

ROSENTHAL: STRASBURG WAS ELECTRIFYING – MLB on FOX reporter Ken Rosenthal gives his impression of what he saw from 21-year-old phenom Stephen Strasburg: “This is my 24th year covering baseball, and last night was one of my five favorite nights ever at a ballpark,” said FOXSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal. “To see Strasburg perform at such a high level was electrifying. Granted, Strasburg was facing the Pirates, the lowest-scoring team in the majors, but the quality of his pitches was so good, I’m not sure the opponent would have mattered. He touched 100 mph – with movement. He threw his breaking ball for strikes. His changeup was in the 90-mph range. And the last of his pitches was a fastball at 99. You couldn’t take your eyes off him. Let’s just hope he stays healthy and his starts remain must-see events for hopefully, the next 10 or 15 years.”

“ALL-STARS AMONG US” CAMPAIGN AGAIN EQUIPPED FOR SUCCESSMajor League Baseball and PEOPLE Magazine announced the finalists and the voting period for the “All-Stars Among Us” campaign, which recognizes individuals who are serving their communities in extraordinary ways. The 90 contenders (three per MLB club) have been selected from thousands of online submissions by fans across the nation who nominated an “All-Star” within their community. Fans can log on to www.PeopleAllStars.com now through June 20 to read each nominee’s inspiring story and vote for their favorite community “All-Star.” All 30 winners (one per MLB club) will be included in the All-Star Week festivities in Anaheim and honored during a special pregame ceremony at the 2010 MLB All-Star Game Tuesday, July 13 on FOX (8:00 PM ET).

MLB Network has the battle of the Bay Area tonight.

June 12         9:00 p.m.      Oakland at San Francisco
8:00 p.m.      Toronto at Colorado (only in A’s and Giants markets)

TBS as we know has Stephen Strasburg’s second major league start on Sunday. Interesting double assignment as Dick Stockton works both the Phillies-Red Sox for Fox and then Washington-Cleveland for TBS. I’m sure Stockton was going to call the originally scheduled game, Phillies-Red Sox for TBS.

1 p.m. – Washington Nationals @ Cleveland Indians

Announcers: Dick Stockton (play-by-play), Buck Martinez (analyst) and Dennis Eckersley (analyst)
