ESPN Radio to Debut Dari & Mel on Saturday

ESPN Radio will bring SportsCenter anchor Dari Nowkhah and NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper, Jr. together for a four hour block on Saturday mornings starting this weekend. Aptly named “Dari and Mel”, the show will preview the weekend’s action plus feature interviews with newsmakers, athletes and coaches. Mel Kiper, Jr. has been a staple on ESPN Radio and so has Nowkhah. Now, they’ll team up for a show that will air up until the college football season.

We have your announcement.

ESPN Radio’s Dari and Mel to Debut Saturday
ESPN Radio will debut a weekly show on January 8 when Dari and Mel premieres in the Saturday 8 a.m.-noon ET time slot.  SportsCenter anchor Dari Nowkhah and NFL Draft Expert Mel Kiper Jr. will co-host four-hours devoted to covering all sports leading into the network’s SportsCenter Saturday block. Dari and Mel will feature analysis and opinion, as well as interviews with the day’s biggest newsmakers and listener interaction.
Mel Kiper Jr. Dari Nowkhah
Nowkhah, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, joined ESPN in 2004, while Kiper has served as expert analyst for ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage since 1984. Each has ESPN Radio experience, Nowkhah hosting the network’s 8 p.m.-1 a.m. GameNight block, and Kiper co-hosting the 10 a.m.-1 p.m. part of SportsCenter Saturday.

Now this will do it.
